Peet was born Jan. 1, 1932.
Peet is survived by sister, Barbara Peet Schimansky of Pelham; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings, E. Chester Peet of Shelter Island and Kathleen Peet Moran of Greenwich, Conn.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, May 8 at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine Church in Larchmont. Interment at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Fairfield, Conn.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Catholic Charities-Archdiocese of New York or The Pequot Library, Southport Conn.
