Charlotte J. King, 74, Mamaroneck Resident

MAMARONECK, N.Y. — Charlotte J. King, a resident of Mamaroneck, died Monday, April 25. She was 74.

Born in the Bronx, N.Y. to John and Charlotte McNeil, King graduated from the College of New Rochelle and went on to become a teacher in the New York Public Schools.

She was devoted to her parish, Sts. John & Paul, where she served in the Women's Guild, worked in the rectory and also was a Eucharistic Minister. King also was a volunteer at Sarah Neuman Nursing Home. 

King is survived by children, Kathleen Griffith (Thomas), Elizabeth King and Martin King, as well as grandsons Thomas and Jack. 

She is predeceased by her husband Judge Martin King and sister Katie Casey. 

Family and friends will gather to honor King's life on Wednesday, April 27 from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, April 28 from 3-7 p.m. at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 E. Boston Post Road in Mamaroneck. To contact the funeral home, call 914-698-5968.

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 29 from 10 a.m. at Sts. John & Paul Roman Catholic Church, 280 Weaver St. in Larchmont, followed by interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
