Claire Baresel Finelli, 91, Longtime Resident Of Mamaroneck

MAMARONECK, N.Y. – Claire Baresel Finelli, a longtime resident of Mamaroneck, died peacefully Thursday, Feb. 26, in Shelburne, Vt. She was 91.

She worked as a draftsperson for Gibbs and Cox at the Brooklyn Navy Yard during World War II, met her husband, Damon Finelli, at Perkins+Will Architects and retired as an employee of Raymond Keyes Engineers.

Finelli was predeceased by her husband. She is survived by her children, Janis Finelli and Damon Finelli; and grandchildren Sola and Norman Farquhar.

She was an active parishoner at both St. John's and St. Thomas' churches in Mamaroneck.

A celebration of her life is tentatively planned for Saturday, April 25, at St. John's Lutheran Church.
