She was born July 29, 1932, to Edwin and Alice Smart in Brooklyn.
Sandstrom was a longtime member of the Orienta Beach Club, and a devoted member of the Larchmont Avenue Church where she was church officer and president of the Trustees.
Survivors include her husband, Harold; two daughters, Lisa (Ron) Tosh and Karin (Mark) Shelton; and three grandchildren.
Calling hours will be 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Friday, at the John J. Fox Funeral Home, 2080 Boston Post Road, Larchmont.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 7, at Larchmont Avenue Church, 60 Forest Park Ave., Larchmont.
A reception will follow at the Orienta Beach Club, 1054 Walton Ave., Mamaroneck.
Interment will be private.
