STAMFORD, Conn. - Dr. Thomas E. Sheehy of Stamford, formerly of Harrison, N.Y., died Saturday, Oct. 25. He was 77.
Sheehy was born in Mount Vernon, N.Y., to Thomas and Nancy Sheehy. He served as a captain in the Army from 1963 to 1966. He received his B.S. from Fordham University, a DDS from the University of Pennsylvania, and a degree in orthodontics from Columbia University. He had a practice in Mamaroneck, N.Y.
Sheehy is survived by his wife, Barbara; children, Douglas (Kristin), Sarina Fusco (William), and Elisa Olszewski (Frank); brother, Roger; and eight grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert.
A memorial gathering will be held Tuesday, Oct. 28, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, at St. Gregory the Great at 215 Halstead Ave., Harrison. Committal was private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Fund or Fordham University.
