He was born September 7, 1927 to Harry and Frances Talgo.
He was a Navy veteran
Talgo was a guidance counselor in the Mamaroneck Schools for many years. He was also treasurer of the MAMTA Federal Credit Union.
Talgo was a member of Orienta Beach Club, where he also served on the board of directors. He was also an avid golfer and tennis player.
He is survived by his wife, Nina; children Jon, Kristen, Brian, Mark and Lauren Speare; and grandchildren Kirsten, Erin, Kristen, Carter, Aidan, Tyler, Carly, Avery, Ryan, Ellarie, Tony, Jenna and Kate.
He was predeceased by his five siblings.
Visiting hours will be from 5-9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 5, at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 E. Boston Post Rd., in Mamaroneck. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 6, at the funeral home.
