STAMFORD, Conn. - Giuseppe Laria, a Stamford resident, died Oct. 31. He was 60.
Laria was born May 22, 1953, in Dasa`, Province of Vibo Valentia, Calabria, Italy, son of Francesco Laria and Marianna (Fratea) Laria. He, along with his wife Maria, was the owner and operator of Harrison Avenue Farm in Mamaroneck, N.Y.
Laria is survived by his wife, Maria A. (Tamburri) Laria; children Joseph C. Laria, Nina L. Laria and Adriana C. Rogers (Bernhard); mother-in-law, Luigia Tamburri; sisters, Luigia Sette, Aurora Romano`, Evalina Condino, Ines Corrado, Angela Laria, Carla Buongermino; and two brothers. He was predeceased by his parents.
Calling hours are Sunday, Nov. 3, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8 Schuyler Ave., Stamford. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 4, at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Ave., Stamford. Entombment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Greenwich.
