MAMARONECK, N.Y. – Grace Oberlander, 83, a lifetime Mamaroneck resident, died Wednesday, July 22.
She was born Aug. 25, 1931, to Charles and Josephine DiPietro. She worked for many years as an advertising manager for Customart Press in Mamaroneck, one of the first Pennysavers. She was an devoted parishioner of Most Holy Trinity, where she was a member of the Women's Guild.
She was predeceased by her husband, Albert W. Oberlander.
She leaves behind her children, Albert W. Oberlander Jr. (Anne O'Neill) and Janet Young (James); and three grandchildren.
To honor her life, family and friends will gather Sunday, July 26 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck. A funeral mass will be held Monday, July 27 at 10 a.m. at Most Holy Trinity Roman Church, followed by interment at Greenwood Union Cemetery.
Memorial donations are requested to the Humane Society of New Rochelle, 70 Portman Road, New Rochelle 10801.
