LARCHMONT, N.Y. -- Jerry Joseph Jaeger, 83, of Larchmont, died Sunday, Feb. 15.
He served with honor as a hospital corpsman in the U.S. Navy on the USS Haven hospital ship off the battle zone in Inchon, South Korea, during the Korean War.
Jaeger was awarded the Korean Service medal, the National Defense medal and the U.N. Service medal.
Survivors include his wife, Marcia Z. Jaeger; two sons, Bruce (Phyllis) Jaeger of Manhattan and Dr. Lawrence (Erika) Jaeger of Larchmont; one sister, Marilyn Stever; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at noon Friday, at Larchmont Temple, 75 Larchmont Ave.
Burial will follow in the Glenville Cemetery, Greenwich.
