MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- John Francis Harrington of Denver and formerly of Larchmont, died Tuesday, Sept. 1, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Denver. He was 76.
He was born Feb. 3, 1939, to Michael J. And Nora B. Harrington.
He grew up in Larchmont and attended St. Augustine's Grammar School, as well as St. Augustine's High School in Brooklyn.
Harrington moved to Denver in the mid-1960s and began his career at RTD of Denver.
He is survived by three brothers Robert B. (Jane) of Seattle, Brian P. (Linda) and Kevin M. (Nanda) of Larchmont, his sisters Mary P. (John) Lyden and Noreen C. Keating (Michael) of Hawthorne and his sister-in-law Helen Harrington of Rye.
He was predeceased by three brothers Dennis, Michael Jr. and Jeremiah J.
Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m., Tuesday, at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home 767 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Wednesday, at Sts. John & Paul RC Church followed by interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
