LARCHMONT, N.Y. – John Lawler, of Larchmont, died on Monday, Aug. 17, of brain cancer. He was 44.
Lawler was born on Dec. 12, 1970.
He graduated from Iona Prep and Syracuse University. He was a partner at the Bristol Consulting recruiting firm in New York City.
He is survived by his wife, Ashley, three children, Jack, Quinn and Molly; parents Michele and William Phelan, step-siblings Kerri Cartelli, Janet Paolucci, and Thomas Phelan, and mother-in-law Brenda Long.
Visiting hours will be on Wednesday at 4 to 8 p.m. at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, at 767 E. Boston Post Road in Mamaroneck.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine RC Church in Larchmont.
Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Valhalla.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the research of oligodendroglioma tumors at the National Brain Tumor Society .
