MAMARONECK, N.Y. – Joseph Marino, 86, a former Mamaroneck resident, died Friday, May 8.

A native of Spring Valley, Marino served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.

After leaving the Navy with numerous honors, he moved to Westchester County.

He owned both Fido’s and Snooky’s Place.

Survivors include two sons, George (Joanne) Rainaldi and Roger Rainaldi; one brother-in-law, Peter (Molly) Diamond; one sister-in-law, Geraldine Diamond; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, May 31, at the Mamaroneck Elks Lodge No. 1457, 417 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck.
