MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- Leatrice Kay Grubman, a longtime resident of Mamaroneck, died Monday, Sept. 7, just before her 82nd birthday.
Grubman was born in the Bronx to Solomon and Lena Lask.
She was a homemaker and was known for her cooking and generous nature. Her passion was children and spent many years as a child care provider after her own children went off to college.
She was predeceased by her husband, Walter Grubman.
She is survived by her daughters, Diana Perez (Donald) and Michelle Miyashita (Tak); and her grandchildren, Joanna, Andrew, Kristy and Sammie.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday at Sharon Gardens in Valhalla.
The family will sit shiva Thursday, from 3-7 p.m. at Chabad of Larchmont and Mamaroneck, 921 W. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck.
