She was born March 12, 1925, to Bernardo and Charina DiRuzzo.
Powers attended Mamaroneck High School and Taft Business School in White Plains.
She worked for the Village of Mamaroneck for 30 years where she served as an enforcement officer for the Village Police Department and 17 years for the Village Court.
She married Nicholas J. Powers in 1943, who predeceased her, and later Anthony Dell in 1995.
She is survived by her son, Wayne N. Powers, grandchildren Nicholas J. Powers and William J. Powers; one great-grandson; and a brother, Angelo DiRuzzo.
She was predeceased by a brother, Luke DiRuzzo and sisters Pasqualina N. Orsino and Anita D. Cuce.
Visitation will be at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 E Boston Post Road in Mamaroneck on Friday, May 6, from 9-11 a.m.
A prayer service will take place at 10:30 a.m., with entombment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
