MAMARONECK, N.Y. – Maria Afflisio, of Mamaroneck, died on Wednesday, July 15. She was 87.
Afflisio was born Jan. 31, 1928 to Augustino and Rosa Mandarino. She worked as a packer at Meta-Glo in Mamaroneck.
She was predeceased by her parents and son, Vincenzo. She is survived by her husband, Giovanni; daughter Angela Hurley and her husband, Tom; granddaughters Erica and Erin; and members of her extended family.
Visiting hours are Sunday, July 19, from 3-5 p.m. at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, July 20, at 10 a.m. at St. Vito's Roman Catholic Church, followed by interment at Greenwood Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Vito's Church.
