Marie Nardozzi, 82, Former Larchmont Teacher's Aide

PELHAM, N.Y. – Marie Nardozzi, a longtime Pelham resident, died Feb. 7 at her home. She was 82.

Nardozzi was born Nov. 30, 1930, in New Rochelle to Charles and Mary Corona Valenti. She worked as a teacher’s aide at the Murray Avenue School in Larchmont for many years.

She married Andrew Nardozzi on Aug. 23, 1953, at St. Joseph’s Church in New Rochelle.

She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Patricia; 10 grandchildren; a great-grandson and three nephews. 

Visitation is from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Lloyd Maxcy and Sons Beauchamp Chapel in New Rochelle. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph’s Church. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in New Rochelle. Sisto and Paino Directors are handled arrangements.
