MAMARONECK, N.Y. - Michael J. Magnotta of Mamaroneck died July 12. He was 63.
Magnotta was born in 1949, son of Michael and Fidalma “Phyllis” Magnotta. He served in the U.S. army as a combat infantryman in Vietnam, and then went on to work as a sales associate for Sears in White Plains for over 40 years.
Magnotta is survived by his wife, Nanette (nee Passalaqua) Magnotta; children, Joseph (Erin) Magnotta and Debra (Tristan) Lillo; two grandchildren; brothers, Daniel (Pat) and Jeffrey Magnotta; sister-in-law, Angela Vissa (Richard); many nieces, nephews; great nieces and nephews; cousins; and friends. He was predeceased by his parents; and twin brother, Stephen. Calling hours are Wednesday, July 17 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck 914-698-5968. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 18 at St. Vito’s R.C. Church.
