LARCHMONT, N.Y. – Michael "Uncle Mike" Pittera, a longtime Larchmont resident, most recently a resident of the Sarah Neuman Nursing Home, died Monday, Nov. 19. He was 83.
He was born Dec. 2, 1928, to Joseph and Santina Pittera. He was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Campisciana and Sandi Longhi. He is survived by a brother, Fred Pittera; a sister, Ann Pittera; his companion, Evelyn; and four nieces and five nephews.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Wednesday at Sts. John and Paul Church in Larchmont. John J. Fox Funeral Home in Larchmont handled arrangements.
