LARCHMONT, N.Y. - Michael Robert McClintock of Larchmont died June 2. He was 55.
McClintock was born Aug. 20, 1957, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to George D. McClintock and Aileen McHugh McClintock. He was a 1976 graduate of the Blake School in Hopkins, Minn. He graduated from Dartmouth College with a B.A. in 1980, and from Harvard Business School with an M.B.A. in 1986.
Since 2011, he has been a senior managing director at Macquarie Capital, in the Financial Institutions Group. Previously he held senior positions at FBR Capital Markets, CIBC Capital Markets, Merrill Lynch, and JP Morgan. He was chairman of the Board of Directors of the Merchants Bank of Rugby, N.D., a family business established by his great-grandfather in 1898. He was also a member of the Board of Directors Catholic Youth Organization, Archdiocese of New York. He is a past member of the Board of Governors of the Apawamis Club of Rye.
McClintock is survived by his wife, Cynthia Ann Crowley; children, Christina Carey, Clare Melissa, and William Crowley McClintock; sisters, Jessie McClintock Kelly, Brooklyn, Catharine R. McClintock, Edina, Minn., Jane M Wyatt, Edina, Minn., Anne D McClintock, Medford, Mass.; brother, George D McClintock, Purchase; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, John Meeker, Binita Mehta, Wiz Wyatt, Catherine Poole, Melissa and Penry Price, Peter and Gretchen Crowley; parents-in-law, Joan and Paul Crowley; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents.
Calling hours are Wednesday, June 5 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Fox Funeral Home in Larchmont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Augustine Church in Larchmont.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Dartmouth College.
