Murray R. Nask, 94, Lifelong Mamaroneck Resident, WWII Veteran

MAMARONECK, N.Y. - Murray R. Nask, a lifelong Mamaroneck resident, died Nov. 3. He was 94.

Nask was born in 1918, to Frank and Esther (Anello) Nask. He worked as a truck driver for many years at Suburban Fuel Oil in Pelham. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of the V.F.W. Post 1156.

Nask is survived by his wife, Carmella (Pagano) Nask; children, Maria (Anthony) McAndrews, Phillip (Martha) Nask, Robert (Donna) Nask and Kathryn (Dale) Mueller; sister, Rose Suppa; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents; and siblings, Carmella DeLeo, Louis Nask, Frances DeFazio, Mary Ciccarelli, Jean Annon, Angelo Nask, Frank Nask Jr, Esther DiNardo and Anthony Nask.

Calling hours are Thursday, Nov. 7 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday, Nov. 8 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck. 914-698-5968. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov.9 at St. Vito’s R.C. Church. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nask’s memory to the American Heart Association.
