MAMARONECK, N.Y. – Raymond C. Colucci of Mamaroneck and Laurel, N.Y., died Wednesday, July 18, at Nyack Manor Nursing Home in Rockland County after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. He was 86.

The son of Amadeo and Ida Colucci, he was born June 24, 1926. He married Barbara Sohier on Aug. 7, 1949, after serving in the military. She died in November 2004.

Colucci continued working as a writer and consultant to the fabric care industry. He wrote a column in Drycleaner's News called "Speaking Out." An avid traveler, he made multiple trips to the Baltic states, Russia and Europe, especially Bologna, Italy, where he imported new dry cleaning technology to meet modern environmental standards.
