Brasa was a mechanic and proprietor of NM Motors in Mamaroneck.

Brasa is survived by his parents, Frank and Joanne (nee Pagliaro) DeCabia; siblings, Lisa Idoni (Robert) and Michael DeCabia (Holly); nieces, Nicole Devane and Evelyn DeCabia; aunts, uncles; cousins; and friends.
