MAMARONECK, N.Y. – Thomas G. Dean, of Mamaroneck, died on Tuesday, May 19. He was 83.
Dean was born in Greenwich, Conn., to Thomas and Evelyn Dean He graduated from Greenwich High School and attending the University of Connecticut.
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War on the USS Daly. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 501 for more 40 years.
Dean was predeceased by his wife, Joyce (DeFonce) Dean, and is survived by his children, Carol of Newbury, Ohio; Michael and his wife, Deborah of Burke, Va.; John and his wife, Colleen of Fairfield, Conn.; Lynne Newton and her husband, Thomas; and Claudia Dean Haskins and her husband, Mark of Slingerlands, and grandchildren, Michelle, Jack, Chelsea, Carlin and Rowanne.
Visiting hours will be on Saturday from 3 to 7 p.m., at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 East Boston Post Road in Mamaroneck.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Rye Neck Booster Club, c/o Laura Van Buren, 25 Johnson Place, Rye, NY 10580 will be accepted.
