Vincent L. Possidente, 83, Lifelong Mamaroneck And Larchmont Resident

MAMARONECK, N.Y. - Vincent L. Possidente, a lifelong resident of Mamaroneck and Larchmont, died Nov. 7. He was 83.

Possidente was born in 1929, in Larchmont, N.Y. to Vito and Carmela Possidente. He served in Korea for the United States Army from 1951 to 1952. He was employed by John Lanza Plumbing & Heating before taking over the business upon the death of Mr. Lanza in 1973. He was a member of the Plumbing Board for many years. The Village of Mamaroneck was his home for many years.

Possidente is survived by his son John, of Mamaroneck; niece, Kathleen Downy of Norristown, Pa.; and nephew, Edward Smith of Las Vegas, Nevada. He was predeceased by his wife, Corinne (Lanza) of Mamaroneck.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12 at the Most Holy Trinity R.C. Church, 320 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck, NY, US, 10543. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery, High Street, Port Chester, NY, 10573.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Possidente’s memory to the United Kidney Foundation.
