LARCHMONT, N.Y. - William A. Treasurer of Larchmont died July 28. He was 76.
Treasurer was born March 3, 1937, in Mt. Vernon, to William and Dorcas Treasurer. After completing his education, he joined New York Telephone, where he rose to executive positions in several departments and later became director of operations at Tad Telecommunications/Northeast Division. He is past president of the New Rochelle Lions Club, a former member of Orienta Beach Club where he served on various committees.
Treasurer is survived by his wife, Toby (Torpy); children, Karen Pompeo (Ron), William (Shannon), Doug (Patty), Jeannie Callanan (Tim); nine grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and sister, Gail Gilcher (Bill) of Mamaroneck. He was predeceased by his parents.
Services will be held Saturday, Aug. 3 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Fox Funeral Home.
