William Scumaci, 82, Worked In Pelham

William (Bill) Scumaci, a resident of Ossining, formerly of Yonkers, died on June 17. He was 82. Bill was born in the Bronx on February 1, 1935 and was the son of the late Frank and Catherine (DeMicco) Scumaci.

Bill was employed by LaSalla Construction in Pelham and was a member of Local 1, NYC. He was an avid Giants and Yankees fan. For many years he was a manager for the Hillcrest Lakers baseball teams in Yonkers.

Bill is survived by his wife Joan (Parrella); three children: Robert (Jennifer), Nancy Scumaci, and Karen Seikovsky; eight grandchildren: Jake, Louis and Angela Scumaci; Nicholas Grous; Jessica Seikovsky; Billy, Christina and Danielle Scumaci; his brother Robert (Joan); and his daughter-in-law Doreen. He was predeceased by his son William, his brother Frank and son-in-law Rob Seikovsky.

A memorial mass will be held on July 8 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Augustine’s Church in Ossining. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Memphis, TN, or the Ossining Food Pantry. arrangements handled by Dorsey Funeral Home, Inc
