MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- The Village of Mamaroneck Police Department arrested four men Friday on charges of possession and/or sale of cocaine.
The arrests were made after Mamaroneck police conducted an investigation with the assistance of the Westchester County Department of Public Safety Narcotics Unit.
Officers took the accused into custody Friday at about 8:15 p.m. after responding to a building on Mamaroneck Avenue, police said.
Hector Ortiz, 22, of the Town of Mamaroneck; Michael Chavez, 37, of the Village of Mamaroneck; and Jelance Nash, 19, of the Village of Mamaroneck, were each charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a class B felony; third-degree criminal possession of a control substance, a class B felony; and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor.
Cyril Oneil Nash, 47, of the Village of Mamaroneck, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor.
