MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- A 10-year-old girl was struck by a golf ball on Sunday evening and taken to a hospital in the Bronx.
Town of Mamaroneck Police confirmed that the girl was on the grounds of Bonnie Briar Country Club along Weaver Street when she was knocked unconscious about 6 p.m.
Members of the Larchmont Volunteer Ambulance Corps transported the girl to Jacobi Medical Center, according to Lt. Robert Koziak, a spokesman for the Town of Mamaroneck Police Department.
Details on the girl's medical condition were not immediately available.
