Authorities announce the arrest of Justin Ross for rape in the second degree, two counts of sexual misconduct and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

The Ulster County Family and Child Advocacy Center completed an investigation of sexual contact between the defendant and a child less than 15 years old which resulted in the arrest of Ross, a Saugerties resident.

Ross and the teen are known to each other, authorities said. Further investigation found that the suspect also engaged in sexual contact with a second victim who was also known to him, according to state police.

Ross was arrested at the Kingston State Police barracks and was arraigned in front of Town of Saugerties Justice Daniel Lamb, who remanded Ross to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash or $25,000 property bond.

Ross was ordered to return to the Village of Saugerties Court on May 9. He was additionally issued an order of protection preventing any contact with the victim.
