Larchmont Charges Two With Driving Without License

LARCHMONT, N.Y. – Two people were charged with driving with a suspended license by the Larchmont Police Department this past week.

A Mamaroneck Town woman was pulled over Aug. 16 on Palmer Avenue. She was charged with operating a vehicle with a suspended license and her vehicle was towed. She was released on her own recognizance.

On Aug. 13, a man from Dobbs Ferry was charged with operating a vehicle with a suspended license by police after he was stopped for committing a traffic infraction on Palmer Avenue. His vehicle was towed and he was released after posting $100 bail.

Also in this week’s blotter:

  • Sometime during the night of Aug. 12, someone broke into a Chestnut Avenue home and took property worth more than $4,800.
  • A business owner on Boston Post Road reported to police someone removed property worth $200 from his store Aug. 11.
  • A Palmer Avenue resident told police Aug. 11 someone made purchases of more than $430 with her debit card account.
  • During the middle of the night, someone entered an Oak Avenue home Aug. 12. According to reports nothing appeared to be taken.
  • The Larchmont Police Department also responded to 16 burglar alarms, six motor vehicle accidents, seven aided cases and 55 other calls of service the past week.
