LARCHMONT, N.Y. -- New York State Police charged a Larchmont man on Friday, Sept. 26, with grand larceny after he was accused of attempting to charge back to his credit card payment for actual purchases , officials said.
Kareem Elsirafy ordered parts online his Audi from a company in California. Once he received and signed for the parts at his business address, in Millerton, N.Y., he contacted his credit card company and reported the charges as fraudulent, police said.
Elsirafy was arraigned and sent to Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail, police said.
