LARCHMONT, N.Y. – A Mamaroneck man who gave a forged New Jersey driver’s license to a Larchmont police officer was charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument, according to police reports.
Adam Zable, 19, gave the officer the fake license after he was stopped July 31 on Palmer Avenue for a traffic infraction, police reports said. He was held for arraignment.
Also in this week’s blotter:
- An Elmsford woman was charged July 31 with driving with a suspended license and suspended registration. The car was impounded by Larchmont police and she was released after posting bail.
- On July 29, a Larchmont police officer found that a traffic sign was removed from its location and damaged in Lot 3 at the train station.
- A Boston Post Road business owner reported to Larchmont police on July 31 that she was notified by man that someone had used his credit card fraudulently in her establishment.
- Larchmont police also responded to nine burglar alarms, six motor vehicle accidents, seven aided cases and 54 other calls for service between July 28 and Aug. 4.
