MAMARONECK, N.Y.– The Town of Mamaroneck Fire Department will be hosting its annual Open House on Oct. 13.
The whole community is invited to come and enjoy all the activates the firehouse has to offer that day.
The Open House, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Weaver Street Firehouse will allow residents to explore the firehouse while learning about fire safety and fighting fires.
There will also be a smoke room simulator to help teach children how to escape a smoked filled house, according to the Fire Departments flier. Soda and hot dogs will also be served.
