MAMARONECK, N.Y. - A verbal altercation reportedly turned physical in Mamaroneck when a village resident allegedly stabbed a man from New Rochelle in the stomach.
According to police, at approximately 1:45 a.m. on Tuesday, March 21, officers from the Mamaroneck Police Department were dispatched to the area of 322 Mamaroneck Ave., where there was a man reportedly bleeding from a wound in his abdomen.
Upon arrival, officers said that the 32-year-old victim was lying on the ground with a stab wound to his stomach. The subsequent investigation determined that an acquaintance, Mamaroneck resident Ronal Guevara, 32, had been the one to stab him following an altercation, according to Police Sgt. Sandra DiRuzza.
