MAMARONECK, N.Y. - Mamaroneck Town police are investigating an incident involving a stolen bicycle from a residential property.
On Sunday, a bicycle was taken from a shed on Boston Post Road near the intersection of Dillion Road.
The bicycle was a black Globe Vienna, which is a bike designed specifically for urban riding. The bike also had a red storage pouch attached to it. The value of the stolen bicycle is $400.
In an effort to return stolen bikes to their owners, police recommend each bicycle owners register their bikes with http://nationalbikeregistry.com/ . The national data base allows bikers to register their bicycle using the serial number, along with their name and contact information.
