Mamaroneck Police: Home and Car Egged

MAMARONECK, N.Y. – A Madison Street resident reported that his home and car were “egged” in the early morning hours of June 20. Mamaroneck police said there were also dents and scratches on the rear passenger side door of the resident's 2012 Toyota.

The following incidents were also reported by the Village of Mamaroneck Police Department:

  • On June 22 at 12:04 a.m. police responded to a call of a naked man standing in the middle of Grove Street. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the man.
  • A Town of Mamaroneck man was injured on June 20 while riding a lawn mower. According to the case report, the 26-year-old was riding the lawn mower on Johnson Place when it slid down a hill into a parked car, causing minor property damage. He was transported to the hospital with an ankle injury.
  • A Philadelphia man was charged with operating his 1983 Falmouth Cutter boat while impaired by alcohol during a vessel stop around 4 p.m. on June 24, according to a police report.  The boat was docked at the time according to police.
  • Village of Mamaroneck man Demetrio Oxlaj, 29, was charged with driving while intoxicated on June 23 after being stopped for a traffic violation on Library Lane.
