LARCHMONT, N.Y. - An 84-year-old man had a stroke while driving on Myrtle Boulevard in Larchmont on Tuesday and crashed into a parked car, police said.
The man crashed into the car, which was unoccupied, at about 1 p.m., police said. The man did not sustain any injuries from the crash and was alert when emergency workers responded.
He was taken by ambulance to Sound Shore Medical Center.
A similar accident happened in the Village of Mamaroneck on Saturday when a 72-year-old man had a medical issue while driving north on Mamaroneck Avenue near Saxon Woods Road, police said. He later died.
