A  31-year-old man is facing multiple charges after allegedly threatening to set fire to a local business in front of the owner’s wife and child, police said.

A business owner on East Main Street in Mount Kisco reported to Westchester County Police shortly before 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20, that Erik Landaverry-Lemus had been involved in a dispute inside the store earlier in the day, which led to Landaverry-Lemus allegedly threatening to set the building on fire.

A police investigation led to the arrest of Landaverry-Lemus, who was charged with a misdemeanor count of endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment, a misdemeanor. He is due back in court later this year to answer the charges.
