Officers were dispatched to the Webster Bank branch on East Parkway following reports of the fraudulent debit card being used at an ATM inside the building. The suspect then fled the bank before patrol arrived.

The bank described the suspect as a white man with a short beard wearing a hooded sweatshirt and a camouflage hat, police said. Officers canvassed the banks on East Parkway, Popham Road and Chase Road for the suspect, but were unable to track him down.

Police said that they’ve been supplied with a photo of the suspect from Webster Bank’s security team. Bank officials said that no money was taken from the ATM by the suspect. An expanded canvas of the area did not produce the suspect.
