Two Hit-and-Runs Reported In Mamaroneck

MAMARONECK, N.Y. – Town of Mamaroneck Police are investigating two separate hit-and-run incidents this week from accidents on July 6.

A woman was stopped eastbound on Boston Post Road at 6:15 p.m. waiting for the car in front of her to turn left on to Dillon Road when a vehicle struck her from behind, according to the accident report. The woman’s vehicle sustained damage to its rear, but when she attempted to contact police the driver of the vehicle that hit her left the scene.  The vehicle that struck her was possibly a Honda sedan, and had some front-end damage.

Sometime between 11 and 11:50 a.m. a vehicle struck a woman’s 2012 Honda parked on Palmer Avenue in Mamaroneck Town.  The left front side of the woman’s car was damaged as it parked in front of her house at the time.
