The listing price for the six-bedroom, three and a half bath European chateau is $949,000.

The historically-designated Bedelle Homestead was built by Adrian Bedelle, an architect and former Mayor of Mamaroneck (1935 to 1938) who designed several town structures, such as the Columbia firehouse on North Barry and Jefferson Avenue in 1922.

What makes this 3,560-square-foot house unique is its hand-carved woodwork, moldings and paneling, carved from walnut trees that were once on the property.

The home, at 136 Highview St., was built in 1918 and features a host of upgrades including a large modern kitchen, heated solarium, and greenhouse. Go here for more details.
