LEWISBORO, N.Y. – The Lewisboro Senior Adults have scheduled several events and meetings for the second half of September:

Sept. 21

The Book Club meets at 11 a.m. The book currently under discussion is “Sarah’s Key” by Tatiana deRosany. Contact Pam Veith at (914) 232-6162 or Cindy Rubino at the South Salem Library if you are interested in joining.

Jug Band rehearsal at noon

Getting to Know You – Sharing Stories of Our Past at 1 p.m.

Sept. 22

A trip to the Maritime Aquarium with lunch at the Sono Brewhouse in Norwalk, Conn., departs from the Town Park at 8:45 p.m. The bus will depart from the Brewhouse at 3 p.m. and arrive back at the park at 4:45 p.m. Cost is $40. This is a shared trip with Bedford.

Sept. 28

The Knitting Group meets and the Jug Band rehearses at 11 p.m.

Business meeting at 1 p.m. Bring food for the food pantry and items for the animal shelter.

Besides the Maritime Aquarium trip, all activities take place at the South Salem firehouse on Route 35. Activities are open to all those over 50. Call (914) 232-6166 for more information.
