Police: Stamford Man Charged With Drunken Driving Violated Probation

STAMFORD, Conn., -- A Stamford man who was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated was in violation of his probation, police said.

Richard Degabriel, 52, of Stamford was arrested Wednesday by Stamford Police after he allegedly violated his probation in Westchester County.

Richard Degabriel, 52, of 43 Iroquois Road, was arrested Wednesday morning on a warrant for his extradition from Westchester County, N.Y., for violating his probation. 

The details of the DWI charge were not available, police said.

Probation officials contacted Stamford Police, who located Degabriel and picked him up.

Bond was set at $10,000 and he will be extradited to Westchester County.
