"Wilder, Wilder Wilder": 7:30 p.m. Croton-Harmon High School's fall drama presentation is three, one-act plays by Thornton Wilder, author of "Our Town." The plays include, “The Happy Journey to Trenton and Camden,” “Love and How to Cure It," and “The Long Christmas Dinner." Admission is $10, $5 for students. The high school is at 36 Old Post Road South, Croton.
Halloween Masquerade Ball: 7 p.m. to midnight. Cocktails, dinner, dancing, an aerial show and a silent auction will benefit the Division of Pediatric Oncology at the Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center. Blue Mountain Middle School Halloween Dance: 7-9:30 p.m. Blue Mountain Middle School students should come in costume to this dance. Questions regarding appropriate costumes should be directed to school officials at 914-257-5716. Admission is $5.
"Shakespeare in Shorts," Presented by Hendrick Hudson High School: 8 p.m. This presentation of two abridged plays, "The Taming of the Shrew," and "Twelfth Night," is prepared by retired Hendrick Hudson High School English teacher Amy Benjamin. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for seniors and students.

Croton Goblin Parade: Noon. In conjunction with this Halloween parade, Phineas and the Lonely Leaves will provide live entertainment and vendors will sell beaded items, pottery, glass, wood carvings and food. The parade begins at the Stanley H. Kellerhouse Municipal Building, 1 Van Wyck St., and ends at Vassallo Park with a costume contest.

Ajna Wellness Center Open House: 1-5 p.m. The wellness center will open its doors and offer free dream interpretation, mini acupuncture sessions, food demonstrations (including apple pie smoothies) and relaxation medication, among other practitioner samples. The wellness center is at 18 Old Post Road South, Croton-on-Hudson.
Earth Art Workshop: 1-2:30 p.m. This free workshop is presented by Teatown Lake Reservation. Participants will create art using only objects found during a walk through the forest, guided by environmental artist Susan Shanti Gibian. Bring a camera to document work.
