HACKENSACK, N.J. — Hackensack resident Thomas E. Uzzalino died Sunday, May 8. He was 82.
Prior to retiring, he worked as a construction worker for Bar San Construction Company of Hackensack.
He was a parishioner of St. Francis R. C. Church of Hackensack, where he was a member of The Socialites.
He also was a member of Heavy and General Labors Local 472 of Newark.
Uzzalino is survived by his wife of 61 years, Josephine "Dolly" (Susino); daughters, Deborah Carfi and Darlene Czesniewski; grandchildren, Angelica, Pina, Danielle, and Thomas; brother, Robert Uzzalino; sister, Antoinette Smith; and great-grandchildren Johnny, Gia and Bella.
He was predeceased by his brother, Michael Uzzalino; and sister, Mary Foschino.
The funeral is scheduled for 9:45 a.m. Thursday at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Service, 397 Union St., Hackensack.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Francis R. C. Church, 50 Lodi St., Hackensack with entombment following at Hackensack Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday.
