Maureen A. Portmann, 71, Of Wyckoff

WYCKOFF, N.J. -- Maureen A. Portmann, of Wyckoff, died on Sunday, Dec. 18. She was 71.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Larry and Mickey Peltier of Hackensack, born in 1945. She grew up in Hackensack, graduated from Immaculate Conception High School in Lodi, and Katherine Gibbs in NYC. She was a successful business woman for more than 40 years. In addition to caring for her own family, she was the president of the St. Vincent de Paul Society in Neptune. She spent her free time tending to the needs of those less-fortunate. She was deeply involved with Holy Innocents Church in Neptune. She was happiest when she was walking along the boardwalk on a beautiful sunny day in Spring Lake.

She is survived by her husband, William; children, Sean Portmann and Sandra Trach and her husband Scott; and grandchildren, Catherine and William; and siblings, Michelle and Michael Supper, Michael Peltier, Brian and Kathleen Peltier, Marianne Blackstone-Tabner, and Thomas Peltier. She was preceded in death by her sister, Ann Broaddus Peltier.
