A commercial burglary that occurred on Tuesday in Dutchess County is under investigation and state police asked for the public's help Thursday in finding the suspects.

The burglary occurred just before 3 a.m.at the Stewart’s Shop, located at 2300 Salt Point Turnpike in the Town of Clinton, police said.

Surveillance footage captured the two suspects break into the front entry door, and subsequently destroy and steal cash registers from within. One register box was stolen but contained no currency. The subjects left the scene in an unknown direction.
