Christopher Collins, of Leesburg, has been charged with one count of possession of child pornography, and was arrested as his home Thursday morning, Sept. 7, on the 600 block of Constellation Square SE, local police said.
The charge stems from a cyber tip relating to child pornography, in which a Leesburg police detective assigned to the NOVA-DC Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force conducted an investigation and determined that Christopher Collins was in possession of sexually explicit material involving a child, police said.
Collins was taken into custody without incident, and a search warrant was subsequently executed at the home. He remains held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center with no bond.
