Archdiocese Appoints New Principal Of Larchmont School

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- The superintendent of schools for the Archdiocese of New York has announced the appointment of new principals at three Westchester Catholic elementary schools for the 2014-15 academic year.

In the Northern Westchester region, Sharon O’Leary has been appointed the new principal at St. Patrick's School in Bedford. She most recently served as the interim principal at the school and is the former Principal at Our Lady of Fatima School in Scarsdale.

In the Central Westchester region, Fatima Gianni has been appointed principal at Sts. John and Paul School in Larchmont, and Judith Johnston has been appointed principal at Sacred Heart School in Hartsdale.

Gianni has experience as both a principal and in the business community, and has served as an educational consultant. She recently completed her tenure as director at the Nazareth Nursery Montessori School. 

Johnston formerly served as the principal at Good Counsel Elementary School and holds a doctorate in psychology.
