Board Of Regents Considers New Teacher Evaluations

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – State officials are considering a measure in which Westchester County teacher evaluations would be heavily dependent on students’ performance on standardized tests, according to WGRZ.

The Board of Regents is scheduled to meet to discuss whether to change the current evaluation system or wait until next year to do so, WGRZ reported.

However, much is still dependent on state lawmakers who are in session until Wednesday, according to WGRZ.
